7 Furlong All-Weather Gallop

The all-weather gallop is 7 furlongs of mainly uphill gradient; it is securely fenced and enclosed on both sides, encouraging even the shyest horses to work. The surface is 'cushion ride' woodchip which creates a fantastic, springy going for horses to work on safely. The gallop is available for individual hire and season tickets are available for unlimited use.
Fast work is a valuable part of any fitness programme and can even be incorporated as a 'pipe opener' or 'jolly' for most horses as part of their routine. The gallop provides a safe environment for this as well as part of a more structured approach such as interval training.
